The ultra centrifugal mill is widely applicable for processing a broad range of sample types, including soft, medium-hard, brittle, tough, and fibrous materials. Its high rotational speed enables samples to be ground in an extremely short time, achieving an "in-and-out" grinding process. The instrument features an anti-splash funnel design to ensure samples enter without escaping. The plug-and-play rotor and sieve ring design make cleaning more convenient, and the sample collection tray allows for easy removal of processed samples. With its efficient grinding technology and a wide range of accessories, the mill is adaptable to various sample preparation needs and types.

Principle

The sample is introduced through the funnel, and as it descends, it encounters a formidable impact force generated by the interaction with the rapidly rotating blades under the influence of high-speed centrifugal force, thereby undergoing initial preprocessing. Subsequently, the sample is subjected to further shearing, compression, and friction between the rotating blades and the stationary ring sieve. Particles with dimensions smaller than the sieve's apertures pass through to enter a circular collection tray, thus completing the comminution of the sample. This two-stage grinding principle yields a gentle yet highly efficient pulverization outcome. Due to the high efficiency of the grinding process, the residence time of the sample within the grinding chamber is significantly reduced, thereby mitigating any potential alterations to the sample's intrinsic properties.

• For Thermally Sensitive Samples:The rapidly rotating blades ensure swift grinding, minimizing the thermal impact on the samples.

• For Difficult-to-Grind Samples:Liquid nitrogen can be added prior to grinding to embrittle the samples, achieving the fineness required for analysis.
